FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN - There is still uncertainty surrounding the future of the Fukushima Power Plant as it edges closer to a nuclear meltdown. The Japanese Prime Minister saying the reactors at Fukushima quote 'do not allow for optimism.' Workers at the plant hold out hope that the new power lines running to the reactors will allow the cooling system to restart. Today the Japanese Government elevated the nuclear incident level from four to five on the international scale. Half a million people are homeless after the quake and tsunami. They now call temporary shelters home. There is no power or running water and freezing temperatures force survivors to huddle around gas heaters, and there is very little food.
